"Celebrate King, Celebrate Kindness"
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once said, "Life's most persistent and urgent question is: 'What are you doing for others?'"
Join us Monday, January 21 at 6:30 pm for a special, all ages community service program at Hubbard Public Library, 436 West Liberty Street Hubbard, Ohio 44425.
Everyone who registers in advance and attends our special event will have the opportunity to create a “Kindness Keeper”.
This item made from recycled materials will help remind us daily
that we can make a difference every day in some way in the world around
us. Dr. Maya Angelou, friend of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, reminds us,
“You can start right now, just where you
are, being a better person yourself, being kinder, being more
courteous, trying to be a better student, so that you will make an
impact yourself on your nation, on your race, on your gender, and in
fact, on the world. That is where we see the impact of Martin
Luther King, Jr.”
Registration is limited to 50 people; first come,
first serve. Please call the reference desk at 330.534.3512 x6 to
reserve your space. If you are bringing your family, friends, or a group, please remember to
register for the total number of individuals who
will be attending with you.
