CHANGES TO THE GED

WHAT IS CHANGING?

• No more paper test.
• In 2014, all testing will be done online.

• The fee.
• The testing fee will increase from $40 to $120.

• You have a deadline.
• You must complete all portions of the GED by December 21, 2013. If you have not completed all sections by the deadline, then your scores will be deleted and you must begin again.

To take the paper GED you must apply by August 9, 2013.
